OH SO COCO!

My favorite fashion model is Coco Rocha, she is a born and bred Canadian and one of the fashion industry's most successful models. I like to keep tabs on her through her Facebook page! I know creepy right, but she is just so loveable! And normal! AND BEAUTIFUL! She seems to make it look so effortless and easy! And we all know how hard it is after watching America`s Next Top Model. AND she responds back to fans, how neat-o is that! :) She has been on the cover of countless magazines, including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Muse, and FASHION, among others. She has done her fair share of campaigns and runway as well. She has modeled for numerous designers, including Chanel, Dior, Oscar De La Renta, Alexander McQueen, Dolce and Gabbana, Celine, Armani, and thats just to name a few! I love her website! oh-so-coco.tumblr.com . Here are some of my favorite pictures of her. I have a total girl crush on her! :P She rocks!

2011 Academy Awards
Top 5 Best Dressed

Though there were quite a few favorites this year, these are my top 5 selections

Mila Kunis

The Black Swan star is lovely in a plunging lavender lace Elie Saab Haute Couture gown with a grosgrain ribbon waist and peekaboo detailing, which she pairs with Neil Lane diamonds.

Sandra Bullock
is by far my favorite out of all 5, and it is such a stark difference to what she wore a year ago, which i like b/c it kind of symbolizes the changes she put forth in her life....The presenter – and last year's Best Actress winner! – is striking in a strapless, scarlet Vera Wang gown, crimson VBH clutch and Harry Winston earrings and bangle.

Celine Dion
Though she just had twins, the performer looks sleek in an ivory long-sleeved Giorgio Armani Privé gown with an eye-catching Bulgari diamond and emerald pendant necklace and '40s-siren waves.

Anne Hathaway

The Oscar host makes an appropriately dramatic accent in a vintage Valentino Haute Couture taffeta gown with floral appliqué train, sparkling Tiffany & Co. diamonds and a scarlet lip.

Mandy Moore

sparkled in a nude Monique Lhuillier gown, simply gorgeous!

Nicholas Poussin
The Nativity, Oil on Canvas 1650s, Munich

Oh My Goodness! I have been away since September! Where has the time gone?! Why is Christmas just around the corner!? It came too fast I tell you! I really dont have much to say, other than the thought of looking at things to buy makes me kind of grumpy, real holiday spirit, eh?

I bought things through out the year to make it a bit easier when the time came to get gifts...but really, the whole tradition and point of Christmas, in my opinion has been lost. Is it not the birth of Christ that we should be celebrating? I went to the mall yesterday to pick up mice for my snake, yes I know, but he has to eat too....anyways, I was just floored by all the sales, and gimmicks to lure you into shops...one could go nuts buying things for others, and you arent even sure they will like it! I'm not gonna lie though, I love presents! Anyone who says they dont are lying, haha! Come on! Secretely they are pleased that someone thought of them and took the time to buy something and wrap it for them! But more than anything, I love GIVING presents! Wrapping them up and watching the loved one un-wrap it is SO enjoyeable!

Ok so my point being is that Christmas is losing its real value nowadays, its just about buying stuff! Stuff, stuff, stuff! I am looking forward to spending time with my family, and enjoying the fantastic meal my gramma will be making! Maybe this year I will actually pay attention and learn to make what she is cooking! And not just eat it all! ha! Ok so that is my thought for today, nothing interesting or exciting!

The painting above is one of my favorite depictions of the nativity. The painter, Nicholas Poussin captures the awe Mary and Joseph are experiencing. Can you imagine!? How would you feel if your child just born, is the world's savior! No words can describe!

I was reminiscing and thinking about favorite wedding dresses of the past, and I always go back to the same one that i would still choose if i were to get married today ( i know right, i am a loser, lol) My choice is a beautiful Angel Sanchez gown worn by Sandra Bullock on her wedding to douchebag Jesse James, I love that gown! And then I got to thinking about my favorite recent wedding dress and Chelsea Clinton's came to mind, what a gorgeous Vera Wang creation, wow! I went on her website, ummm....ya...all the models look like 13 yr olds with eating disorders, how sad! Couldn't they have women at least model the dresses...Chelsea's dress cost a reported $25,000+

They really look in love, I hope it lasts.....Awe they are a really cute couple i must say!!!

Cute, but is it just me or did Clinton get REALLY old! He isn't looking well either....

Oh my gosh! I have been gone for so long! SO SORRY! I went on vacation to my grandparents farm for a week, and then just kind of forgot I had a blog! Oops! :P

My vacation was lovely, I spent about a week on the farm...nothing really exciting other than two of the cats had kittens, so 9 in total shared by the two momma's. So cute, they share duties; feeding, bathing...adorable! I helped my grampa pull a calf. The momma was a late one, all the cattle have had their babies by now and are already at pasture. But he kept her home so he could watch her since she is a heifer, meaning she is a first time mom. She did awesome and the baby is doing well. There were thunderstorms almost every night I was there. Some really great lightning shows! Loved it! The power went out one night while I was playing cards with my grandparents, so we were kickin it old school playing by candle light! LOL! While I was there we had a family friends wedding...beautiful weather and the most relaxing wedding I have ever been to! No muss, no fuss! So chill! It was great... Overall I had a wonderful time, but it went by way to fast!
